#mypjpdparty Gifts Count Down to Christmas

The countdown begins! December is one of my two favorite times of the year. I love the exhilaration of the shopping buzz, the giggles and laughter of the children who can’t hide their excitement as they dream of gifts, the lights, the music, the parties, all of it brings back the fondest feelings of nostalgia.

For me, this time of year has always been about my fam, spending time with aunts, uncles, cousins and finding ways to bring happy tears of joy to my parents with my homemade gifts and personalized cards with my own poetic lyrics (hey, I was kid, no money but lots of love).

Right now, I’m super excited because my mom is coming home to Anguilla for the holidays, that’s a great gift.  But it doesn’t mean I don’t like getting gifts, who doesn’t like the crunching sound of gift wrapping paper being ripped apart to unveil a surprised delightful thought from a loved one?
